I would like to start by inserting a quote from one of the girls that were in the tour. guide (after 3 and a half hours) “You’re not tired are you” girl “No, we’re just so f annoyed”. When we started we were in a group of 25 people and we arrived at the end in 15. We walked for 4 hours and the worst part is that we didn’t see that much. I think we spent AT LEAST 2 and half of that time listening to our guide talking non-stop. Omg and at the start he said that he wasn’t going to be boring, imagine if he said the opposite thing. I appreciate how informed he was, but damn, i don’t remember more than half of what he said because many things were unnecessary. I have been in others tour and I really like being aware of where I am but I don’t need a 30 minutes explanation every 50 meters. When he brought us pastel de nata he stayed 20 minutes with the sweets in his hands just talking. I also thought we would taste Porto wine, and that didn’t happened, but that’s not the biggest problem. In the start the guru was polite and “funny”, but after one hour he started having an attitude and being bossy, even more towards the end!!! I mean if the people in your tour are bored and annoyed by you it’s your fault isn’t it?? And they weren’t being disrespectful, he just thought he was a boss or something. At some point he told someone to shut up in a very rude way, and that person wasn’t doing anything wrong. There was a elderly couple and he didn’t really wait for them, going up a thousand stairs and then stopping under the sun and almost never in the shadow for his long screed. I had high expectations after seeing the online reviews but it was very disappointing. And I can guarantee it wasn’t just me, all my group was bored and annoyed, we would look at each other with faces of disbelief.
