Noi di Tripcol crediamo che viaggiare sia molto più che spostarsi da un posto all'altro. The tour was quite disorganised and the guide did not seem to know much about the indigenous history of Santa Marta. He told some stories about the communities in the Sierra Nevada today, but he kept mixing up the different tribes and mostly just told us what they wear while googling photos of them - anyone could do that, and it was quite repetitive. There was no logical flow to the info he shared, and it was not connected to the sites we visited. The sites were just the standard ones around downtown SM, like Parque Simon Bolivar and the Cathedral, and he sometimes read off the signs they have outside these places. The tour went on quite long as he spent around half an hour trying to sell other tours to the people in our group. Finally he made insensitive comments about homeless people, people experiencing addiction, and people of different races. Overall a disappointment, I wouldn't recommend.

I liked Sergio's presentation of history, facts, people, events, and miscellanea. He was also very helpful with questions and suggestions about the area. He was generous with his time and local information. Thanks so much! Leslie

Sergio was on time, very knowledgable about the history and culture of the region, and — best of all — bilingual in English and Spanish. He was very helpful to all related to questions unrelated to the tour as well.
