I do a lot of these “free” tours, and this was one of the first ones where I wasn’t losing attention after the first hour! It’s a really informative and interesting tour that provides attendees with a good introduction to not only Valetta, but Malta
The tour was boring in information and route. The tour went on for way too long for the lack of relevant Madrid based information. We were really hoping for information on the inquisition and actual relevant Madrid history. David was very enthusiastic and dramatic, but the tour wasn’t interesting. The route didn’t really take us to any relevant locations- or at least the locations weren’t described as relevant. Disappointing! We’ve been on several spooky tours in other cities and this was the worst. At the end of the tour, David told us we weren’t allowed to give a low rating and had to message him privately instead, I don’t think this is fair to future visitors.
Tour was great! Wish the guide had spoken a little slower and a little louder as she was a bit hard to hear and understand sometimes, other than that, it was an excellent tour with a great route of the old city and lots of interesting information.
This was a great tour! I really wasn’t expecting much but I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the neighborhood, meeting everyone in the group and trying new foods. Highly recommend
