Swai really tried to be engaging and cracked a few jokes which was appreciated, however the group was too large (well over 20 people) so it was hard to hear him speak especially since there is loud traffic nearly everywhere we went - unless you stood literally right next to him. The tour also didn’t really cover much about the history of Thailand or Bangkok at all (other than what the local name for Bangkok is) - it mostly talked about one of the lesser known temples and the figures/monkey men on them and then practical info like how to visit certain markets by train or certain temples by water taxi, but not really any information on the history behind those places. We didn’t really get to see much on the tour but I shared a lot of feedback so hoping it will continue to be more enriching over time!
Lucia was a great guide - she has a fun sense of humor and really was great at reeling us in and keeping us interested. She was particularly knowledgeable about random questions our group would ask, and also told us about great things we could do over the coming days to get the most of the city. Thanks, Lucia!
