The guru should have introduced himself to the group at the start. He was late and didn’t apologise and just came up to us and started talking. I actually asked him if his name was Willy. He spent a lot of time talking about his life and some history and not very much about the food. We spent nearly 1 hour at the first food place and then rushed through the rest. We didn’t even try some of the items listed on the tour description. Overall, he didn’t really engage with the group in a personal way, he just spoke a lot and didn’t read the group’s body language or responses very well. The fruit tasting was expensive (9,000 pesos) and at the end of the tour he told us how much to tip him and questioned when I tipped less than he requested. Not a good Guru walk experience.
Nuestra guru fue muy atenta, amable y detallista con todos los datos que nos brindó. Era muy carismática y te hace entrar en confianza fácilmente, me animaría a volver a tomar otro free tour con ella. Muy recomendada! ☺️
La guia fue muy amable y nos realizó el tour con mucho entusiasmo. Al hacerlo en un día feriado a la noche algunos puestos callejeros se habían quedado sin productos..por lo que alguna parada no pudimos realizarla, de todas formas fue una linda experiencia.
Willy was a really nice guide and we enjoyed a lot all the stops we did, as well as all the information provided! We recommend this tour!
