We had the english walking tour with Betty in old Trinidad. The tour was a mixture of history, culture, architecture and art. Betty had the talent to mix all of these as if you’re living them, not making any single fact or information boring or not relevant. She answered all of our questions to all the different topics, no questions were left unanswered. Betty also gave us different tips to how to enjoy Trinidad to the max, including how not to get scammed and what to eat and drink there. The tour with her makes you feel as if you have lived in Trinidad for years. You get a much different perspective than what you read on google. It wasn’t the tour where you just listen to facts about the city, she took us through the life of Cubans in Trinidad. Betty made me want to visit this beautiful city for a much longer period and experience everything she told me about. She was also very happy to answer all the questions we had without hesitation. All I can say is Betty won’t be the typical tour guide you expect, she is your Cuban friend who’s passionate and very happy to show you around and make you love this country more and more. All in all, this tour is 100% recommended in your first or second day of the trip, Betty will make you fall in love with this city, with whole Cuba to be honest.
