Islam was our first introduction to Cairo. Very professional and patient. Showed us around the mosques and market. Made sure we didn't get scanned. Enjoyed the trip. It was very informational and we covered a lot of places. Went inside the Mauseolum of Timur, which was quite pretty. Fayoz is quite knowledgeable and loves to share trivia. Don't miss doing this on your first day when in samarkand. It's a little tiring because of the red eye flight keeping you sleep deprived, but will give a great sense of the place and good bearing on what you want to explore next.
