Mary was a warm, articulate, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate guide. She took our group on a historical, cultural, political, social, and- at times- extremely personal journey across time and space, helping us understand the contextual nuances of Germany’s most poignant points in recent history. A highly recommended tour if you are interested in gaining insights into the psychological aspects of a country with a dark history, and how a young person in the current era may view, make sense of, and learn from the past. Mary was generous in sharing of herself and her hopes for the future. Of course, in amongst all of this we also walked between some of Berlin’s most important landmarks, but these seemed secondary to the perspective we gained from Mary herself! Thank you Mary :)
Our guide was clearly knowledgeable, but seemed to deliver the information on autopilot, with little enthusiasm nor engagement with the group. Frankly she did not capture our interest.
Paria was a passionate, fun, and informative guide who made this tour well worthwhile. She took us to some hidden spots on the well-worn tourist trail. Highly recommended!!
