My experience with Bishamba was great! I only had one morning in Mombasa and decided to take this tour. The evening before, she made sure we were connected via WhatsApp and made it easy for us to communicate and find each other the next day. We started at Fort Jesus where Bishamba explained a lot about the rich history of the place. Then we walked through old town and we got to see some local organizations like the fish market and the Imani collective. Then we visited the spice market and took a tuktuk to the elephant tusks and the park next to it. During our walk Bishamba pointed out many historical and cultural things and knew a lot about the trees and fruits growing there as well. Overall a great experience if you have a few hours to spare in Mombasa. I’ve learned a lot and feel like I’ve seen the most important highlights of Mombasa. Bishamba is very knowledgeable and professional and I would definitely recommend taking her tour.
