Taking the James Town Walking Tour with Emmanuel was such a cool experience! He showed us hidden backstreets and introduced us to locals we’d never find on our own. Along the way, we even got to try corn wine, which was a unique treat. Without Emmanuel, we would have totally missed these awesome spots. Definitely a fun and authentic way to see the real side of Jamestown!
I was very impressed about his knowledge on the history of James Town and learned a lot about Ga culture and how they live today! I really recommend everyone to take the tour!
Emmanuel took us on a fantastic walking tour of Jamestown. His knowledge of the history of Accra was brilliant and we learned so much from him. He showed us round his hometown, made us feel very safe and welcome and introduced us to such wonderful people. We were taught some of the local language which helped us feel part of their community. We enjoyed it so much we didn’t realise the time going by! I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Accra and we have already recommended it to some friends of ours who are staying in Accra this week. The highlight for me was finishing at the school that Emmanuel created. He’s an asset to his community and people should come to see this!
