This is my 5th Guruwalk tour across 3 countries and we were surprised by how different the facts were in this one. Could clearly tell that Justin was well read and well researched - he shared all the sources (books and videos) with us to get deeper information too. Despite the fact that we were around 15 people, he was loud enough for everyone to hear and follow. We enjoyed ourselves - thank you!
Luca was clearly experienced at his work, he was a performer at his craft - knew how to tell stories in history and relate them to today’s pop culture, making them fun to remember. Although his accent was Spanish, it was still easy to understand. Even though we reached an hour late, we still enjoyed ourselves in half the tour. However, there was a city-wide event that blocked all the roads and caused a delay in our arrival, Guruwalks or the guru should have a system to intimate tourists via a simple mail/message about something like this the previous day so that travel inside the city can be timed accordingly as it can affect the tourist’s original plan.
Alex was good, could have spoken and enunciated a little slower so the accent would have been clearer to understand. The places visited were nice, tour started on time and some facts were fun to relate to and remember.
Adam was a great tour guide, love that he introduced that his family been in London for many generations so he was a proper local with little facts about every area. We covered a fair bit of area in the 1.5 hours and the information he shared varied from fun facts to historical facts to cultural facts. Would definitely recommend!
