I recommend the tour with Javier. He did a great job with condescending historical facts and making the tour interesting and varied. A good mix of history information and giving us practical tips on where to eat including his favorite street food spots and juice spots. And, his English was clear and easy to understand :)
I enjoyed my tour with Legaxy. He did a great job keeping us in the shade and entertaining us. Lots of information, but also lots of fun. He even gave us a little dance lesson!
Great tour. Off the beaten path. Well educated guide who did a great job explaining some of the deep current political and social dynamics of Mexico. Highly recommend the tour and checking out a different neighborhood. I also visited the Geological museum after the tour which I would recommend if you like minerals/fossils. The building is historical and very cool. Have lunch and do some shopping in this neighborhood. Spread those tourist pesos around instead of just adding to Roma/Condesa/Zócalo...
We especially enjoyed the tour of the pottery making studio. Very interesting and highly recommend. I wish I could have purchased some of the pottery, but my backpacker lifestyle didn't allow.
