This was my first Guru Walk. Based on Liana’s personality and knowledge of Funchal and its history, I will look for guru walks in other places that visit in the future.
Excellent experience
Having been lucky enough to do a fair few of these tours around Europe, I can confidently saw that Liliana is among the very best. From the start she was wam and welcoming, and seemed to genuinely enjoy doing the tour. She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate but the amount of information given never felt overwhelming or too much. She gives you many recommendations on the way too, as well as sending a list afterwards. I can absolutely recommend doing one of these tours with Liliana within the first few days of being in Madeira, as it will equip you with lots of local knowledge and great recommendations!
