I landed in Copenhagen this afternoon with one goal: get my bearings. I wanted a walking tour that would give me the history, the stories behind the buildings, and the general lay of the land - so I could spend the rest of my trip actually going inside places already knowing the backstory. Bonus points if the guide had some local tips on what’s worth your time and what to skip. This tour delivered on every single count. We started at Town Hall, and by the end I felt genuinely comfortable navigating the city on my own. Our guide Julian was the highlight — funny, engaging, full of great stories, and clearly passionate about Copenhagen. He kept the whole group entertained while somehow also being incredibly informative. If you’re arriving in Copenhagen and want to hit the ground running, do this tour first. You won’t regret it.
