The guide was nice explaining the city, answering our questions during and at the end, and giving some suggestions for the food and entertainment in the city. But I already knew 40-50% of what he said in the stops. And another thing that put me off was his comparing Christianity to Islam. This happened in front of a church and started from a Jesus statue. He talked about Jesus´s and Muhamed´s life, comparing the two holy books, how Muslims don't recognise the trinity, and how many women they married etc. How is this part of the talk related to Dubrovnik city in the first place?! I felt like he was imposing his views, and I found this Islamophobic. I believe it should not take place on a walking tour; it might be very offensive to some people. In my opinion, no preaching, especially no denigration, is needed in the gathering of people from different countries. Instead, diversity should be embraced.
