This was an exceptional 2 hour tour. Jason is very knowledgeable regarding Bologna and conveyed that knowledge in a clear and entertaining manner. The places covered were typical for centro storico but he added a few fun and not we’ll know sites as well. The pace was conducive to all ages. It was two hours well spent.
I’ve taken many free tours over the past several years and this one, with Alberto as our guide, was by far the best tour. With forty people in the group, I was expecting to leave after a few minutes as I thought it would be chaotic and a waste of my time but fortunately, I was wrong. I can’t say enough good things about Alberto’s knowledge, presentation or his handling of such a large group and the pace was perfect, even for a guy in his 70’s!
The tour was too crowded and using a splitter while running to keep up ruined the experience. We left, not because of all the walking, but because it was more like a jog.
