I would not recommend this tour. The guide didn’t impart a lot of interesting information and couldn’t answer some questions ie what is the name of the church you pointed out. I have generally had a good experience with GuruWalk, however this was lacklustre.
Jorge is a personable guide with good local knowledge. He took us to a good selection of dots in the Old Town and gave a good commentary on what we saw. He also made good recommendations for places to visit after the cruise finished.
Jorge spoke excellent English, I was impressed with the historical description of the history of Montevideo. He ensured that all of group could keep up with the pace. I would recommend him to anyone spending time in Montevideo
