Great way to discover the back streets and learn about the history of the area.
We visited some interesting spots in Shinjuku and got fun and useful information along the way. The viewpoint was a nice highlight. The group was quite large, but the guide spoke clear English and explained everything well. One thing that felt a bit strange: we had booked this as a free walking tour, but apparently some people had booked the same tour as a paid tour. Because of that, the ending was awkward — the guide first let the paying guests leave, and only afterwards asked the “free tour” group to give their voluntary contribution. That created an odd atmosphere. Overall, the tour was enjoyable, but the ending could have been handled better.
