An interesting walk around the perimeter of the Imperial Palace - we didn't expect to go in. Which was just as well given the massive queues. There was a lot of information about the palace construction - the origin of the stones used and the workerst engaged - the defence points, the roles of the samurai etc, as well as a tour of the gardens. All in all, very enjoyable.
A very enjoyable and informative two hour walk around shinjuku. I have given a number of four ratings only because I have no previous experience to measure against, so probably could have given a perfect score. Highlights included Godzilla, Miss Alley, the Pretty Girls club and the shrine a d blessing ritual. A great morning had by all.
