Worst walking tour I’ve taken in Budapest. A series of photo ops, not a themed tour. They think 37 people is reasonable. Group couldn’t stay together or hear the guide, who shouted a few facts at each stop. Many people left. Ridiculous 20 minute break for photos which makes the tour longer and loses people. Unnecessary long walk up a hill just for a photo op. Dangerous stairs. An able-bodied young man tripped and fell. Guide didn’t notice. Guide gave more tourist info than history. Huge waste of time.
Very knowledgeable, added personal anecdotes that made it meaningful. A very complete tour.
My first day in Budapest. A great way to start the visit. Robert is a wonderful guide, going above and beyond to give us a great experience. The time sped by and I can’t believe how much we saw. Extremely professional and attentive. I’d read a lot about Budapest and he told us a lot of things you won’t find in the guidebooks.
