No better way to get oriented to a new city than a walking tour on the first morning! Our guide, Carlos, was very knowledgeable, personable and clearly passionate about his city. We especially appreciated that he told us at the beginning that he would give us a list of all his recommendations at the end so we didn't have to try and keep notes. We really used these recommendations and he never steered us wrong. The education Carlos gave us in those 2 hours totally enhanced our time in Oaxaca. Highly recommend adding this to your itinerary.
Well worth our time! Our guide, Julio, was himself a writer and his respect and passion for the art of the neighborhood was clear. The murals are appealing, but SO MUCH more so when you have the context, the history and details about the artist. Thank you for enriching our enjoyment of this wonderful city.
