Marko was fun/funny, very knowledgeable. Great tour overall. The pace of the tour was great which everyone enjoyed considering the age group varied. We sampled a drink together which was nice. Tour ends around restaurants and shopping which is nice. Marko gave great suggestions for everything we had questions about. If you have time I recommend doing this tour, it was enjoyable.

- Informative. - Check the pricing for entrance fees. If you want to explore and see more make sure to account for extra time. - I believe its free for people 60+ years old (double check). -There is reduced fee for people in school undergrates and under. Must show school ID. -Can be a lot of walking for some considering the place is big. - If you only have time to see one palace then this one might be a better option. - Location can be far depending where you are staying. - This tour should be a paid tour since tip amount is mandatory for Roy.

Thank you Elie for your review. First: It is free of charge booking. When you booked this tour I already messaged you Guruwalk will charge commission from me and Guruwalk will charge commission per person. So the standard tip is 100Chinese yuan(about 13USD) per person. If you don't agree with tip please cancel the tour so Guruwalk will not charge me anymore. I explained all the details to you after you booked this tour. So you should know how much is tip. And if you do not agree with the tip you should cancel the tour in advance. Second: I didn't stop introducing history of summer palace during the 2 hours walking. And you tipped me 6 USD per person. Guruwalk will charge commission from this 6 USD. So only 1-2 USD left for me. I don't think this is respecting others' work, whether it's in your country United States or China.
