Hi everyone! My name is Saber, and I am passionate about showcasing the hidden gems of this beautiful city. As a local myself, I am privy to all the insider information that will make your visit to Sousse truly unforgettable.
David was a great guide. He was friendly, polite, informative, helpful and answered our questions. There was no marketing or trying to get us to buy products from the Médina and he offered to help us if there was anything that we wanted to buy. He took us on a route that was interesting and one that we probably wouldn’t have found ourselves.
If you're looking for a professional guided tour by a profit-driven company that blasts you with information for 3 hours and then says goodbye, this is not the tour for you. Instead, we got an intimate tour (my friend and I, plus one other couple) during which Saber told us about the history of the places he was showing us and patiently (enthusiastically, even) answered the million questions I had, many of which were about the Arabic language and life in Tunisia rather than what he was showing us. The tour ended up being a lot longer than 3 hours, but we had great conversation the whole time, experienced things we never would have otherwise (like taking a minibus), and ended up having tea/coffee at a café with him. If you're looking for an intimate tour with a very friendly and helpful local, I would definitely recommend it! It is advisable to bring some Tunisian cash for the minibus and museums.
Truly remarkable guide. There is less to see in Sousse than in nearby Monastyr or Kairouan, but he is making this up by his personality. You just walk and talk with him like with an old friend, learning a lot about history, lifestyle and culture of Tunisia. It makes a very authentic experience.
my friend and I enjoyed the tour very much and we would warmly recommend it to all who want to have pleasent, informative and discovering walk around area.
