The Edinburgh Street Historians is a collection of tour guides with a real and abiding connection to the city we call home. Most of us are local, our founder was born in the city and has a birthplace visible from the tour, an everyone else has been a guide for at least 3 years. This is to ensure we are a group of the most talented and experienced guides available on free tours, to ensure top quality and genuine commitment to the task.

Amazing experience learnt a lot very interesting information going deep into the history and what happend in Edinburgh in our past. Lots of information and incredible answers on questions and very interactive. Which was fantastic.
It was very good and our guide was full of interesting facts and exciting stories. We all had a great time.

Waste of time!!! Stay away from this tour!!! He will just intimidate you and keep his expectations about the money he wants. The whole tour this guys had been chatting shit about England(which was not funny), instead of talking about Edinburgh’s history we were learning if the kettle was invented in England or Scotland. We took the other tour later, and it was worth it, I literally did not get any historical information
