I was so excited to join this ‘unique’ tour and try some under the radar, real street food places of Saigon, however, on visiting the first stop it quickly became apparent that this was ‘the very well beaten track’ of restaurants (not street stalls!) where everyone else at every other table in the place was also on a guided tour - it all felt very disingenuous so I’d be reluctant to book if I’d known.
Response from Benjamin
First, we're grateful for your feedback, We're always eager to hear what you liked and how we can improve.
Second, after carefully checking your review, we understand you are not a trusted and respected guest. We want to correct it so other guests will not be confused.
- The tour lasts for 4 hours and consists of 9 food location stops, you only ate at the first stop and you decided to leave the tour not even halfway. Therefore, you reviewed for only the first food stop, not for the whole experience. In addition, in my description of the highlight section, I describe very detail the tour and what we will visit and eat.
You must read already that from the first stop to the last stop. I did not hide the name of the food or the location area where we will walk if you search them on Google Maps.
- For example, in the first stop, I mention " Bo La Lot" This restaurant was selected by Michelin, and Anthony Bourdain used to eat there.
The first stop could be famous because Michelin selected it, you can find it easily on Google map, but we cover up to 9 food locations, the rest places are street food and located in hidden alleys.
However, you tried only the first stop, and you left the tour which was very rude and disrespected Gurus. You joined only the first stop, and you think you could judge the whole experience.
Last, You rated us a 1-star review which was very unreasonable. YOU SHOULD NOT BE WELCOME BY OTHER GURUS IN THE FUTURE.
