Hi, I'm Mujalli, the local Ammani tour guide behind Free Walking Tour Amman. I studied history and nursing, and I have a passion for culture, politics and religion. It was when I showed my friends from Jordan that I discovered my love and aptitude for offering tours and after their positive feedback I decided to start offering professional tours. It is a job that gives me great satisfaction. Being able to inspire people and expand their knowledge while building bridges between cultures throughout my storytelling is extremely rewarding. My job is to make sure people have the best experience while exploring this country, either during or after my tour. My work life spans many different industries, which definitely suits me as a tour guide. I am able to offer travelers a unique and often unseen glimpse into what life is really like here while we have fun and discuss the history and politics of the region.
Great tour! Mujallie is very knowledgable, engaging, and fun guide. He is really passionate about the history and politics of the region. In the beginning of the tour, he provided a nice historical overview of the region and Jordan in particular, and then we went on to explore several landmarks of Amman, strolling the market and trying various local spices and sweets. He also showed a more alternative side of the city. Overall it was a great experience with a bit of everything to give you a sense of the diversity of Amman. Would highly recommend :)
Mujallie is the best! Seriously well informed, great fun, entertaining and very engaging. He gives a really thorough background of the area’s past through to the present, and expands on the culture and food throughout the walking tour, which he finishes off with sharing really useful travel information for you to keep. Book Mujallie, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks, Mujallie
This tour was really great! Can’t recommend it enough.. Not only is Mujallie great with people, but he’s knowledgeable, passionate and engaging when he speaks. The history was incredibly interesting and eye opening, then we headed down the market streets and alleyways trying foods, coffee and spices, learning about the clothing worn (past and present) and meeting different people. Do this tour people! One of the best tours I have done.
