The Walking Tour of Phnom Penh with Martin was an incredible way to explore the city! Martin’s energy, knowledge, and enthusiasm made the experience both informative and fun. We visited beautiful temples, bustling markets, hidden alleyways, and got to sample some amazing street food along the way. Each stop offered a different perspective on the culture and daily life of Phnom Penh. Martin shared fascinating insights and stories that added so much depth to the tour. This was the perfect way to discover the heart of the city and its hidden gems. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Phnom Penh – thank you, Martin, for a fantastic day!
I was very disappointed with the "Lanterns & Legends: Hoi An Night Walking Tour" led by Vy. Despite the allure of Hoi An's famous lantern lights, we only spent the last 10 minutes with them, which fell far short of my expectations. Unfortunately, the tour started with Vy discussing expected cost contributions, including fees to Guru Walk, with a minimum of 230,000 VND, which felt uncomfortable. The tour itself seemed more like a sales pitch, with constant stops to encourage purchases and frequent “You wanna buy?” prompts. It lacked the genuine feel of a local-guided tour, and Vy’s teacher-like manner with repetitive questions further detracted from the experience. The commercial focus and lack of authentic city exploration were disappointing. I cannot recommend this tour.
