My family and I recently had the pleasure of taking a tour with Jean-Baptiste, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Our group was just under 15 people, including both adults and children, and Jean-Baptiste made sure that everyone felt welcome and included. He was incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive to our needs, always ensuring that we were comfortable and engaged throughout the entire tour. Having done multiple GuruWalks in Paris, I can confidently say that Jean-Baptiste was the best guide we've had. His knowledge of the city was impressive, and his enthusiasm made the tour so much fun. If I ever return to Paris, I will definitely book another tour with him without hesitation. If you're considering taking a tour with Jean-Baptiste, don't hesitate—it's an experience you won't regret! Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Paris with a knowledgeable and friendly guide.
Sanna was such an amazing tour guide! She really gave us such a lovely introduction to the city! She was also very kind and would wait for us if we were trying to get some iconic Paris photos. I am going to try to book her for my next tour and I would highly recommend you book with her if you get the chance!
You absolutely have to take this tour! Unlike the more well-known history of Nazi Germany, I didn’t know as much about the Soviet Union and East Berlin, which made this tour incredibly fascinating. Alexis's deep knowledge and passion for this period shine through, making the experience both educational and engaging. I learned so much during this tour. Alexis has a knack for pointing out the remnants of the Soviet era that are hidden in plain sight, like the street lights and the stones on the road. These little details are things I never would have noticed on my own, and even my friend who lives in Berlin didn’t know about them. Alexis truly brings the past to life, showing you how the history of East Berlin is still visible today. For three hours, Alexis takes you back in time, and the tour is so captivating that the time flies by. I did this tour almost directly after the Nazi Germany tour (which I also highly recommend), and the combined six hours of walking were an amazing way to see the city and delve deep into its history. If you are considering taking this tour, don’t hesitate. Do it! You’ll learn so much and gain a new appreciation for Berlin's rich history. These tours were my favorite part of my entire trip. This tour, along with the Nazi Germany tour, is an absolute must-do. You might regret it if you don’t take the opportunity to experience it!
You absolutely have to take this walk! If you have any interest in Nazi Germany or are a history buff, this tour is an absolute must-do. It is truly a first-class experience, thanks to the way Alexis organizes everything. He is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also puts in so much effort to craft an experience with photos and videos that really bring you back to the 1940s. For three hours of walking, I did both this tour and the Soviet Union, East Berlin Tour (also highly recommended) almost directly after. The six hours flew by, and it’s a fantastic way to see the city and get your steps in. Alexis also provides great suggestions for things to do in the neighborhoods explored on the tour. If you are considering taking this tour, don’t hesitate. Do it! You might regret it if you don't, and you’ll miss out on an unforgettable experience!
