I totally enjoyed this tour, I definitely recommend it to anyone who's already done all the typical Medellin stuff and is looking for something a little bit different. Our guide was really great - he was enthusiastic, professional, engaging and knowledgeable. We ended the tour at La Casa De La Memoria which was very impactful, not a "happy" place with pretty art but rather a thought-provoking and profound experience. It's important to learn about some of the personal stories of Medellin's recent history.
Viviana was absolutely wonderful. The tour was fantastic, Manizales is a beautiful town, I really enjoyed learning all of the details and history from Viviana. She knows a lot and she's such a nice person. It was super interesting - I highly recommend this tour to anyone who's lucky enough to be able to spend some time here. Most definitely worth going out of your way to come here, this is one of the best tours I've done on my 5-month trip! Go and thank me later!
This was a fantastic experience, 5 stars in every way! Silva was great and it was a really authentic experience, small group, I can so highly recommend it. I've never done any free tour like this before! You should be prepared to climb up and down through the forest paths and across rocks, using tree roots for support. Wear good shoes, bring water shoes if you have them. And only, if you are a very fearful or out of shape person, this might not be your best choice. But still it's not really very difficult, only you have to feel confident. I just loved every minute!!! Worth all the minimal effort, a highlight of my 3 month Brazil vacation
David is an excellent guide, the tour was very good
