Dear Ellen,
You expressed your unhappiness about the tour, pretty much at the beginning of the tour. This was my answer to you:
- This general free tour is catered for general knowledge on the Netherlands and The Hague, you told me you read several books on the city before your visit. I explained that The Hague history goes hand in hand with our national history and needs explaining for most walkers.
- I offered you to walk next to me, ask your specific detailed questions ( btw that the rest of the group mostly does not care about) to me-even in your native language German,- so that you too would feel you would get something out of a tour that was clearly the wrong tour for you.
- I made it clear that the second half of the tour was more about architecture and local stories. You chose to skip that second part.
Perhaps for next time, I also offer tours that cater to those who want explore the local history even further. We hope to see you again. Kind regards, Els
