He shared so many fascinating stories and useful tips about the city that we felt like locals by the end of the day. Irvin is incredibly knowledgeable, and thanks to him, we spent a wonderful afternoon filled with insights and the rich history of the beautiful city of Gjirokaster. We also tried a local dessert, learned to dance to traditional Albanian music, and shared plenty of laughter.
Gjergj was an amazing host. He invited us to visit his ottoman house full of antiques. Later we spent a couple of hours sitting in the living room drinking rakia. He couldn't speak any language apart from Albanian but we comunicated with google translate and it was super fun.
