The tour had nice tips, interesting facts about the culture and life in Morroco. We would have liked to get more infomation about the market and stop in the actual market for spices and other things presentation. We did a stop for a comercial oil products presentation instead. It was still great to know more about it, but we probably had expectation that it would be happening in the actual market.
Jamal, our guide, welcomed us warmly and was very friendly, demonstrating extensive knowledge about the city and its history. He was very attentive to any dietary restrictions during the Moroccan pastry tasting. However, for most of the tour, his approach was rather unentertaining and lacked enthusiasm—we spent several minutes waiting in line without any explanation. Moreover, we were disappointed to learn that part of the tour took place inside a building with an admission fee, without prior notice or consultation.
