Absolutely loved this tour! Stops: Nhat brought us to 4 different places starting with a sweet or savoury (your choice) pastry, onto a savoury crisp pancake, then for Ban Mi which was delicious and finally some much awaited pho. All the places were honestly incredible. It was just two of us on this tour which actually made it better for us as it meant we kind of had freedom to eat or not eat certain things and adjust as we went. I really wanted pho and Nhat made this a priority even though initially it was an option between this or the Ban Mi but he made it an ‘and’ rather than an ‘or’. It’s definitely a slower pace too which means you aren’t rushing and tearing between places and the information Nhat was giving us was so easy to digest. I really enjoyed it and would do it again. Value: Overall we spent 250,000 dong on the food which for us was completely worthwhile - both delicious and full afterwards. Great value. .

Hands down one of the the best walking tours I’ve done. Sights: we started at a coffee shop where you get to try a local coffee of your choice (you need cash for this, works out at about 1 euro per cup)and it was a great way to start the whole tour. We met just outside the coffee shop and it was great to go somewhere I probably would have otherwise walked past if on my own. You then to get to visit where local people live and really see try Vietnam, which was so interesting. You also visit a bridge built during French colonialism which was very interesting. Your Guide: Huyen was exceptional. She is funny, engaging, her English is fantastic and her knowledge was equally superb. She kept the whole group engaged and the spirits were high. Value: for a free tour, this went above and beyond in terms of the value. Food: we even got a snack at some of the places (which you need cash for) at only 12 cent a piece it was delicious. Communication: my one recommendation for the tour is that either the tour company or the guide should message whereas I got a message from both - it’s overwhelming when you’ve got a lot of tours planned as you are trying to make sure any changes or differences are caught and the messages are quite lengthy so it would be good if it was one rather than both. It’s great that the communication is there, and we booked last minute so even more impressive that they are on top of it but I think one message is plenty! Overall, can’t recommend enough, well worth doing.

Hidden gems of the Old City and it's Surroundings

I mean no response from the guru after asking if it was happening at all that day. Not even a message after the fact. Then I went just to see if it was happening and there was no one so indict know if this is legit or not. Other reviews seem to reflect the same sentiment!

Honestly, I felt like I was hanging out with a friend for the duration of the tour. It was relaxed, great pace, easy going. The tours passion for his city and culture come through and that is something I love to see. He brings you all over the city and you get to see the real sidi bou said.although 8am seems a little early for a tour, I have to say it’s worth it as you avoid the crowds of tour buses that arrive around 9.30. We got to see panoramic views of the city with hardly anyone else around, and at times no one at all. We did the tour for just under 2 hours and I have to say 8 learned tonnes. Highly recommend.
