A great experience, the guide focused on Sarajevo’s older history, not from the war time, which we liked, as there was so much interesting to see and hear about how the city came to be how it is.
Taking the tour with Aleksandar was a great experience. We were only two, but he still did the tour and gave us incredibly much and interesting info as we saw authentic places we wouldn’t have seen by ourselves. Highly recommend.
We booked a tour with Belgo tours for the next day, but when we came to Grote markt, there was no one from Belgo tours to take us on a tour. It was the same for another person. However, since there are so many tour guides meeting around the same time in the same place, another guide helped us, contacted someone in Belgo tours, they had apparently not seen our bookings, and we ended up doing a tour with another guide instead.
