Adriano gave us a good story of the city and the local culture. We understood much better what we saw around us in Salvador.
I took the English-speaking tour but the quality of the guide was very bad. Poor English fluency, poor storytelling, no context. I’ve always had great experiences with free walking tours, but this one was surprisingly bad. I was considering to drop out after the first 20min but I stayed till the end, hoping I would learn something interesting. I ended up google-ing most things I wanted to hear about during the tour. There was no point in asking the guide.
