Iam Maaffar houcine an English tour guide recognized by ministry of tourism in the kingdom of lights Morocco.
Before becoming an official tour guide in Morocco , I spent more then 4 years as a backpacker in many countries , in Africa and Europe, I love to share all my experiences and knowledge with other people to enrich our culture and our knowledge.
I’m from south of Morocco belonging to a Nomad family. I grew up in traveling all over the kingdom and I will be so happy to share all my experiences with you all .

Maaffar was a great guide! This was the first thing we did after arriving in Marrakesh and Maaffar could not have been more helpful and informative. We learnt lots about the history of the city through its architecture and markets, whilst receiving recommendations for places to return to explore, shop and eat. Tour molto carino, i posti visitati sono molto autentici e fuori dalle solite rotte turistiche. La cosa che non mi è piaciuta è stata la fretta con cui abbiamo fatto tutto. Siamo arrivati nel souk dove producevano le scarpe e non c’ha dato nemmeno 5 minuti per permetterci di guardare o acquistare qualcosa, dicendo “mi raccomando tornateci dopo” e io mi chiedo come faccio a tornarci dopo? La strada è difficile, sono tutte stradine e Google maps non funziona. Quindi mi chiedo che senso ha andare fin lì senza poi dare alle persone la possibilità di acquistare in un posto sicuramente più autentico rispetto alla piazza principale. Non c’è stato inoltre nemmeno un momento in cui fermarsi, anzi è stato fatto tutto di fretta.
Brilliant walking tour, we discovered the true heart of Marrakesh. It was amazing to see where locals shop and work, making authentic products. Our guide was very informative and had some great tips about visiting Marrakesh. 100% would recommend!
