Al was very good in contacting me in advance of the tour and having his direct contact details was very helpful. He knew about the history of the town and of Cuba itself. Al tailors the tour to suit the people's needs. Highly recommended
Once again Guruwalk exhibited their discrimination against solo travellers. Many of their tours will not book solos. This tour, the other people booked did not turn up and I was told I had to pay double. Other people not turning up is not my problem. The guide insisted I pay double but I refused and was walking away when he agreed to take me. The tour was advertised as 2 hours, he took me for one hour and again asked for double pay. The small tour I got was quite good. Guruwalk needs to consider its discriminatory practises against solo travellers
The actual guide who took the tour was fine. The organisation beforehand with Yahya was stressful. Lots of messages about payment but wouldn't confirm the tour beforehand and changed time and guide at the last minute. I would have paid more if Yahya had been more professional and hadn't hassled me about money
Dale was extremely knowledgeable. All the dates and events. He also pointed out small things that you would not notice just walking by. He helped set me up with somewhere to eat when most places were closed for the season. Very good
