The tour was super interesting. Olga, the guide, knows a lot of history and trivia about the monument, which makes it very enjoyable. She also interacts with the group, asking questions and showing material that she has gathered by herself about the history of the monument and how it relates to other monuments. She is very passionate. 10/10 I strongly recommend.
The tour was meh. The guide, Vanesa, took us to some interesting places but didn't know any information of the places. It sounded like she quickly read a pamphlet with the places you have to see and that was all. She mentioned that there are 3 important buildings and said: "One is the ministry of security, and there are others...". What others? Why did you mention 3 buildings then? She took us through 50 statues and didn't know any single one of them when we asked her. She only said that they fought the ottomans. Why did they fought the ottomans? Who were day? Who is the person in the center of the bridge? She took us to the fort in Skopjie and said: "This fort was built in the 6th century. There is not much to said about the fort" and finished the tour. There is a lot to say about the fort and about all the other places we saw. The guide didn't know any trivia. I watched a youtube video that same day and learn way more that what I got from the guide. Not recommended.
