Ich hatte ursprünglich vor, zwei Touren mit Priscilla zu machen, aber eine der Touren hat sie wegen zu geringer Teilnehmerzahl abgesagt, also habe ich sie für den nächsten Tag bestätigt. Sie schickte mir eine Nachricht an meine Telefonnummer und forderte eine Mindestzahlung von 20 Dollar. Auch als ich erwähnte, dass GuruWalk als VORSCHLAG eine Zahlung von 10-50 Dollar festgelegt hatte, bestand sie darauf, dass ich ihr mindestens 20 Dollar zahlen sollte. Ich habe kein Problem damit, eine großzügige Entschädigung zu gewähren. Allerdings ist es nicht richtig, dass der Guide seine eigenen Zahlungsregeln aufstellt, da dies nicht den Richtlinien folgt oder das Konzept von GuruWalk respektiert, was die Benutzer abschreckt. Auf jeden Fall sollten sie und ihr Mann eine eigene Tourismusplattform betreiben und nicht GuruWalk nutzen.

Guruwalk suggests euro10-U$50 as gratuity payment to guides for the service provided. This translates to SGD15-SGD70 when converted to local currency terms. Given the high cost of living in Singapore and forex fluctuations, specifying SGD20 is not an unfair gratuity. Furthermore, this is told upfront in our communication to all guests who signed up for our tour, it is a willing seller willing buyer mutual agreement. I would also add that during gratuity payment to the guide, all visitors handover their gratuity together and we do not specifically check on quantum provided by each & accept whatever is given and there have been many instances where guests handover less than SGD15 gratuity but we never make a fuss or complain. Your comments & rating with regards to gratuity payment is deemed unfair in this instant!

I have participated in many Free Walking tours in several cities/countires and Nadias tour has been by far the best ever. Even compared to private tours I have been where I had to pay a fix price (usually overpriced), Nadias tour is the most interesting and fun. She has extensive knowledge and experience plus she is very profesional and comes well prepared with material to support the information she shares. Additional to sharing historical facts she also intriduce us in the Malay day to day cultural experience showing us several recommendations to try local delicacies. Nadia is very passionate about understanding and sharing real facts from her culture. Additionally she really cared of the tour group making sure we have good stop spots for toilet or to hide a bit from the sun. Later on she shared additional recommendations via text message. I'm so glad I found her tour in KL, with out it, my visit to KL would have been incomplete. Thank you Nadia, I hope to come back to KL and join your tours! Sofia from Mexico :)
