Hello there! My name is Aly. I am an Egyptian citizen. I have had my college degree in Egyptology and tour guidance. I became an officially authorized Egyptologist and English speaking tour guide. I have been in the field for more than two decades. It is, to me, more than bread-winning job. I have never imagined myself doing any other occupation. I do love meeting people, introducing them to the greatness of the ancient Egyptian civilization, alongside showing them the nowadays Egypt, mutually exchanging and sharing knowledge, and having a good time together!

We toured with Aly Elsheemy to the Egyptian Museum and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Aly is an exceptional guide who knows a lot of details, answers your every question (and we asked a lot). He brought the past to life in a captivating and engaging way, without overloading you with information. It was so good we booked a second tour with Aly the next day for the pyramids :) 10/10 you won't regret it.
