Hello everyone! I'm Dani :) I'm from Sucre, a history, culture, and art enthusiast. I really enjoy exchanging languages and perspectives. I've been working as a freelance guide for six years. I'm currently out of the country for work, so Bryan, a great colleague, will be accompanying you on your discovery of the city.
Bryan was our substitute guide. We knew in advance of the change and were fine with it. The tour started at historic Plaza 25 de Mayo with interesting background on the colonial period in South America and the formation of Bolivia. We also learned about two of the main buildings on the plaza. The tour continued as we walked by other historic buildings in the historic city center. We then took a bus to the Calle Gato Negro and followed it up hill to La Recoleta viewpoint. Bryan’s English is excellent and easily understood. He is also very knowledgeable and happy to share it. If you have an interest in history and want an introduction to the layout of Sucre, then I highly recommend this tour.
Our experience with HUGO was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable, had a good relationship with locals, took care of us on the bus and was mindful of our safety. We saw interesting sites and he gave great recommendations. Woukd highly recommend!

Hugo was full of information that he shared with us and took us to meet locals and taste corn beer and play a South American game , really great tour.
