Hello, my name is Luis and I am a geography and history teacher, tour guide, but I also talk about Canarian history in local radio and TV. I have a popular instagram account @historiaparagandules, where I have many videos showing the main historical spots in the island.
I am currently studying a Master’s degree in Contemporary History and a Bachelor’s degree in Law, both online.
My first time working with tourism was during my ERASMUS in Martinique, showing foreign visitors around town and Fort Saint Louis, a 17th century fortress.
What I enjoy most about showing people around my city is how much I learn about the history and architecture of the old town, but especially the chance to meet people from all corners of the world.

We have done over a dozen of such tours throughout Europe, and Luis was the most knowledgeable and thorough. He had hand-outs, QR codes, showed us videos on an iPad, created his own modern day renderings (using AI), and lots of physical pictures and renderings to show us. He recommended food, and lots of local hints and tricks. It was an awesome tour!
Luis is very knowledgable about the history of Gran Canaria, and has excellent resources, maps, images, 3D renderings to bring these histories to life. Also he is happy to answer any questions. An excellent tour!
