Hello, my name is Luis and I am a geography and history teacher, tour guide, but I also talk about Canarian history in local radio and TV. I have a popular instagram account @historiaparagandules, where I have many videos showing the main historical spots in the island.
I am currently studying a Master’s degree in Contemporary History and a Bachelor’s degree in Law, both online.
My first time working with tourism was during my ERASMUS in Martinique, showing foreign visitors around town and Fort Saint Louis, a 17th century fortress.
What I enjoy most about showing people around my city is how much I learn about the history and architecture of the old town, but especially the chance to meet people from all corners of the world.
Excellent and interactive tour. Luis tried to integrate some elements linked to each participant's home country into the tour which shows his knowledge of Las Palmas. He keeps the group small (max 11 people) so it's easy to understand everything when he talks outside and enables everyone to ask questions. Would 100% recommend.
The tour was excellent. Luis was friendly and professional and full of very interesting facts and anecdotes about the history and local living on the island. Really enjoyed it and highly recommend this tour.
