I have been a licensed professional tour guide since 1984. I work on my own full time. “Carioca”, that is, born in the city of Rio de Janeiro, raised in Copacabana and in love with the city, I dedicated my life to studying, researching and getting to know every little part of the city.
Verbal fluency in English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. Licensed by the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism as a regional tourism guide -RJ, specialized in Natural attractions-RJ, specialized in cultural attractions-RJ, international tours. Graduated in Art History of the 18th/19th centuries and history of the City of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil.

Tuvimos un tour privado, a medida. Luiza desde el comienzo nos preguntó por nuestras preferencias, y siempre estuvo atenta a si las palabras utilizadas estaban ok en español. Comentamos sobre algunas frases tipo "slang" de cada país y tmb sobre los cambios culturales en la historia del país. Lo mejor.... El real gabinete portugués de lectura. Imperdible!. Luiza nos acompaño al final del recorrido a la estación de metro y nos orientó para continuar nuestro paseo. Muy recomendable!!! 🙂

Very good trip to discover the center of Rio. Luiza is a great guide, she took the time to explain in details, even taked of her time to show me more things and very nice to be around ! I really recommand this tour, we learn a lot about Brasilian History.
