Visit Catania with a British Polyglot
Hi, my name is Natalie Maria Facenna, I am a native English speaker from the United Kingdom of Italian origin and I have been living in Italy for 16 years. I became an official licensed tour guide in 2017 in the city of Palermo where I lived for 9 years and subsequently moved to Catania where I currently live. I graduated from the University of Glasgow in Hispanic Studies and I am a polyglot (Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Catalan). I also completed a Masters in Tourism Management at a University in Milan and I have studied in Spain and Brazil.
I am a cultural expert and my specialties are the Baroque era, religious tourism, esoteric and popular tradition. I can tailor-make tours to meet the demands of the tourist and make them memorable for years to come.
Read about my tour and don't hesitate to contact me for further information. Come to Catania, you won't regret it.
Very informative and attention to detail.
It was a lovely and broad tour. Natalie was an excellent guide, taking us to all Catania's must-see spots and iconic landmarks. It was very interesting and educational. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Catania.
Natalie is very knowledgeable, presented very interesting story, kept our attention all tour. We are recommending her to all people who want to hear history and new facts.
I can recommend this tour for anyone that is visiting Catania. Natalie was very passionate and knowledgeable about the history of the city.
The tour with Nathalie was simply amazing. The group was rather small and it felt more like hanging our with friends than anything. Nathalie answer all our questions and had always interesting facts about the city. She took us to many interesting places and also she took her time to talk with the locals. The most interesting place for me without question was the Benedictine Monastery of San Nicolò l'Arena. I also tried for the first time fresh pressed pomegranate juice! Many thanks Nathalie!
