Hello, my name is Andrea and my favorite way to start my visits in foreign cities is by participating in walking tours. Looking forward to having many amazing and memorable experiences thanks to this website :)
PS I would greatly appreciate at least 48 hours of notice in case of a tour cancellation.
Highly recommend joining Riadh's tours! Prepare for a fast-paced walk though ;)
Riadh was flexible and accommodating (our train from Sousse was 30-40 minutes late, so we were late for the start of the tour) and showed us places in Tunis that we would not have found otherwise. Highly recommend joining his tours, prepare yourself for a fast-paced walk though ;)
I'm leaving this review with 20+ walking tours behind me, so that other travelers don't fall into the trap we did - planning our entire day around this walking tour, and missing out on the beach because of it. Two stars instead of one because Saber was actually nice and friendly, speaks good English indeed, but the "tour" was like walking with a random local. We were chatting about our personal lives, but we got little to no info about Tunisia, or Sousse. We cut the tour short 1 hour into it, but I was really upset because we didn't get to spend that nice afternoon (with the milder sun) at the beach instead. We believe he does have the potential to be a good tour guide, he just needs to put some preparation and much more effort into it.
Nicolás is very professional, speaks great English and his tour is not your cookie-cutter center visit - this means that you won't be overwhelmed by 3 other guides using microphones explaining stuff next to you. Also, the group will probably be smaller, so I would encourage every participant to leave a nice tip!!! (Btw, there was no pressure whatsoever to leave anything, which was also highly appreciated.)
