Thomas was extremely knowledgeable and gave us lots of detailed information on the history of Mexico City. He was very personable and answered all our questions. The walk itself wasn’t as long as most of the Guru Walks I have attended, as it concentrated on historical buildings in the close proximity of Mexico City central district.
Guru didn’t show up for the English speaking tour. Very disappointed. Got better things to do with my time. Other people were waiting also. We spoke to the Spanish tour guide who was very apologetic. Very unhappy that the English guide (Peter?) didn’t even have the courtesy to message me.
Juan was very friendly and personable. Imparted lots of useful information. Happy to answer questions at any time. An interesting and varied route through the various Manhattan neighbourhoods. Explained the history of these communities and the associated buildings and architecture. Would definitely recommend.
