We were the only two booked for the 6pm tour, but it still went ahead just for us—huge thanks for that! Because of this, the whole experience felt more like an evening stroll with a friend than a formal tour. (Apologies for forgetting our guide’s name—he was a young guy who had just completed his course in hospitality and was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.) The walk was filled with fascinating stories, local legends, and quirky historical tidbits that brought the city to life. He also took us through narrow alleys and lesser-known corners we never would have found on our own. It was personal, relaxed, and gave us a whole new perspective of the city.
