EstAdventures is a small, locally owned and operated tour company offering walking tours in English. Each guide works exclusively for EstAdventures and has been selected for their knowledge, passion, enthusiasm and charming personalities. You will be guided by Jonas, Marko, Dominic, Christopher Robert, Kadri or Ricardo.
The aim will always be to keep things simple, keep them honest, and keep them fun. We like to think that each client who comes on an EstAdventures tour is a friend visiting Estonia, and we show them around with that mindset. We know Estonia well because we live here. But we can explain it well because we understand what makes it interesting to a foreigner. We have a passion for Estonia, its history, its culture, its natural assets, and its people.
This makes us the perfect guides to show you around. Seeing ourselves more as storytellers than historians, we offer a personal touch so that you have fun and get a real insight into Estonia.
I had an awesome time on EstAdventures' free 2-hour walking tour of Tallinn's Old Town. My guide, Dominic, was super knowledgeable, not just about the city, but Estonia in general. It ended up being just me and one other person, so it felt like a private tour, which was a nice surprise. One thing I found really cool was how Dominic explained the Estonian language. It’s part of the Finno-Ugric family, so it’s totally different from most European languages. He even mentioned that Estonian has 14 grammatical cases, which is pretty mind-blowing when you think about how that shapes the language. The tour gave me a much deeper appreciation for Estonia, and it was great to see the things Dominic talked about while walking around the city. Honestly, if this tour were sold online as a private experience, it would easily go for 100 euros. Definitely recommend this tour if you want a relaxed, personal experience and a deeper look at Tallinn and Estonia!
The tour was extremely useful and informative. We took the tour on our first morning so it helped us get our bearings and provided context for our stay. Our guide provided lots of additional information on restaurants, attraction and transport.
