Let us split the review to 2 parts: 1. The company hosting this tour without no further information, before ending the tour itself, requested us to pay 200 pesos/ person minimum as a tip. We find it a bad practice to mandate a fix price (especially without prior information). We have given less and they sent a message afterwards to cancel all our future visits to any of their tours. (Done, we would not like to go to any of their tours in the future.) 2. Our guide was knowledgeable about the places and shared a lot of information. As a constructive feedback: - She seemed nervous throughout the tour, which is completely normal if she is beginner in this field, it will become easier over time. - Sometime she struggled to find the word in English - which is also completely normal, it is fine to describe it (even is Spanish) if the exact word does not come to mind. - Nervousness creates nervousness in other people as well, that how we felt - we missed the great smiles that we otherwise experienced a lot in Mexico. - There were barely time and space for questions - we find it a good practice to stop during the speeches or especially ask people if they have question, it helps to engage. - Group: We have missed the introduction part for the whole group - at least where people are from and names, it gives a chance for people to bond a bit.. - Keep it up with sharing knowledge about Mexican history!
