I’m Alberto, certified hiking guide. I have lived in Bologna for many years, my passions are the mountains, climbing and a good aperitif with friends.
I am a passionate traveller, eager to face new personal and professional challenges. I decided to pursue a career in tourism because I believe in the value of travel as a mean to shorten the distances between people, get out of our comfort zone to expand it more and more.

Alberto warned my friend and I about the slippery slopes on the hike beforehand. He prevented us from slipping into mud by lending us his hiking poles, setting his foot on the side of a hill to stop us from slipping and even even holding my hand. He explained historical sites, we spectacular views, and spending time with him. We would join him again on a hike anytime.
I enjoyed this tour. It is a nice hiking very close to the center of Bologna. It allows you see the city and the river from the top of the hill. The sanctuary della Madonna di San Luca is also worth a visit.
I had a great tour with Alberto and liked it a lot. It was a bit of a small hike which I quite liked and Alberto told me some interesting things about the area. Would definitely do the tour again and maybe next time there’s also another route to see even more of Bologna’s surroundings.
