Disappointing. Way too large of a group with no microphone or sound amplification.

Overall I’ve been deeply impressed with Guru walking tours. Unfortunately, this tour was led by a guide who seemed to operate under the illusion that he was so entertaining that it didn’t matter whether he provided insightful information. That is not the case. While I appreciate tour guides with their own distinctive POV and personality, my motivation is to learn, not to be entertained.

Our guides are professionals in the sector who strive to achieve the best results, especially Ibon. His charisma and presence make the tours entertaining as well as educational, but it can happen that not everyone likes this type of activity. Our clients are very varied and we need to adapt to all of them, which is why we cannot give a detailed history lesson. However, we hope that in the future you will come back to visit us again and that your experience will change completely.

Miguel was great. I appreciated his willingness to share insights of a Basque person because it facilitated understanding the history and context of Bilbao.

Susanne was amazing. She clearly loves what she does, so she draws you into her world and makes it come alive with interest. This tour was fantastic. I feel like I learned more about Bilbao's history, art scene, and politics than I could have through any other way. Don't miss this tour!
